Refunds Policy
First Pro payments are refundable within 14 days. Renewal payments are not refundable.
1. Overview
This Refunds Policy explains when refunds are available for Jurnl-It subscriptions and how requests are handled. It applies only to Pro subscriptions purchased directly through Jurnl-It and paid through Stripe. Payments made through any other provider, app store, marketplace, or reseller are subject to that provider’s refund rules.
2. Free plan
Jurnl-It offers a Free plan with access to core features. Because nothing is charged for the Free plan, refunds do not apply to Free plan use.
3. First Pro payment
Your first Pro payment is eligible for a full refund if you request it within 14 days of the original purchase date. This applies to both monthly and annual first-time Pro purchases.
If a refund is approved, Pro access may end immediately when the refund is processed.
4. Renewal payments
Renewal payments are not refundable because the subscription period begins automatically at renewal. Cancel before the next renewal date to stop future billing.
This policy does not limit mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
5. Cancellations
Monthly cancellation: you may cancel a monthly Pro subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current monthly billing period, and future billing stops.
Annual cancellation: you may cancel an annual Pro subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current annual term, and future billing stops.
6. Duplicate or accidental charges
Duplicate charges, clearly accidental duplicate purchases, billing system errors, or incorrect charges will be refunded. Contact us with the account email, charge date, amount, and any Stripe receipt or invoice reference so we can verify and fix the issue quickly.
7. Fraud and abuse
We reserve the right to deny refund requests that appear fraudulent, abusive, connected to chargeback misuse, or designed to repeatedly access paid features without paying.
We may also suspend or terminate accounts involved in payment fraud, unauthorized card use, or abuse of the refund process.
8. How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact support@jurnl-it.com with your account email, payment date, plan, invoice or receipt reference if available, and the reason for the request. We aim to review refund requests within 2 business days.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund.
